Noosa Tri Club – Tri Adventure
Off Road Squad
Off-road Triathlon and Multisport Events have been very popular in NZ and Europe. Despite the success of some Australians in Xterra many years ago, the sport is only just starting to take hold in Australia with the Xterra Asia Pacific Championships in April at Jervis Bay and the ITU World Cross Triathlon Championships. With the likes of Ben Allen, Erin Densham and Courtney Atkinson signing up for and competing in these events in Australia and Overseas, more Australian elite and age group triathletes are starting to consider whether this is something for them.
Noosa Tri Club is lucky to have the services of Kim Beckinsale Level 2 Triathlon Coach (with 20yrs coaching experience), Olympic Distance Tirathlon Age Group World Champion (2003), X-terra Age Group World Champion (2013), and Cross-Tri Age Group/overall World Champion (2016). In partnering with Tri Adventure the club also has access to Jan Leverton Level 1 MTB Coach, Personal Trainer, Xterra World Championships two time finisher, and Age Group World 24hr MTB Champion.
Tri Adventure is providing NTC Club members an opportunity to participate in Off Road Tri Squad skills sessions, weekend training sessions and training camps in the lead up to the Australian and Queensland Cross Triathlon Championships (February & April) as well as the Xterra Asia Pacific Championships in NSW (April). Personalised Training Programs can also be created for you to balance the integration of off road sessions into you existing Triathlon training schedule.
